Pagan in the Choir

By Jim "Goatroper" Poket

Dedicated to Maura Sipila

There's a Pagan in the choir.
Her voice is sweet and true.
There's a Pagan in the choir.
What will the Christians do?

There's a Pagan in the choir,
who sings from her own soul.
There's a Pagan in the choir,
that the Church can not control.

There's a Pagan in the choir,
with a voice as sweet as rain.
There's a Pagan in the choir,
whose magick will remain.

There's a Pagan in the choir,
who sees beyond the name.
There's a Pagan in the choir,
who knows the message is the same.

There's a Pagan in the choir,
that through music shares her Love.
There's a Pagan in the choir,
who knows the power up above.

There's a Pagan in the choir,
who sings with Christians at her side.
There's a Pagan in the choir,
who knows the Goddess is inside.

There's a Pagan in the Choir,
that these differences disdains.
There's a Pagan in the choir,
that sings till Love alone remains.
